Enso

Most of the day runs on autopilot. Enso is five or eleven minutes of coming back.

Sit. When the time is up, a chime, and a tree is planted. Keep sitting, and a forest grows — not as a score, but as evidence that you kept showing up.

How it works

The long game

Meditation doesn't fix your week. Changes come slowly, and by the time they arrive they don't feel like changes at all — just how you live. Enso is built for that timescale, not for a seven-day challenge.

Sitting is the easy part. The hard part is remembering to, and remembering why you started.

The goal is to leave the app. When you no longer need to be brought back to the present, you won't need Enso. That may take years. It's still the goal.
